2026 – 2027 School Year

Student Grading Policy

Your grades reflect what you have learned and how well you have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required for each course. Grades are based on your academic performance, not your attendance or behavior.

How Your Grade Is Determined

Your grades will be based on clear, measurable evidence of your learning. This may include:

  • Assessments, quizzes, and exams
  • Classwork
  • Homework
  • Independent practice
  • Class participation
  • Projects and research
  • Reports and lab reports
  • Individual and group assignments
  • Skill evaluations
  • Content and process logs
  • Notebook, binder, or folder checks

Feedback and Grade Updates

You should receive timely feedback so you understand your progress and know how to improve. Teachers will return grades and feedback for classwork, homework, quizzes, exams, projects, and other assignments by Monday for work completed during the previous week.

You are encouraged to review your grades and feedback regularly and speak with your teacher if you have questions or need additional support.
